Raindrops keep falling on my head...

[looks out of window]

OK, no opera for me (don't know whether they've cancelled it or not, but Mum & I are agreed that this is Not The Weather for outdoors opera). Bah. Am disappointed about the opera, but more so cos I was looking forward to nice picnic in Green Park with Mum. We are planning to reschedule soon, possibly next week if the weather's nice.

So. How am I to get home, this is the next question:

I'm just voting for bike because I have to ride home too and it's no drier (dryer?) here in stepney green.

Given its not raining here I'm thinking "bike" but I suspect that the weather may be different down there. If you're still feeling a bit under the weather from last time you were ill though I'd suggest nice warm tube. :)

The rain's buggered off (for now, at least) here. Wait and see what it's like at home time?

50mph gales expected, FFS! Take the tube! Will send you a cheque for 4 quid if necessary! :)

Although I do have ulterior motives for wanting you well :)

So what did you do in the end? (Personally I got soaked.)

Luckily it stopped raining just long enough for me to get home... but I still got wet from spray from the road.
