Hunting Bill

Just back from holiday, which was fun - update to follow.

In the meantime: the Hunting Bill has finally been reintroduced to the Commons, & the debate is on Wednesday 15th. Please email your MP to ask them to be present on Wednesday to vote in favour of the Bill and against any delay in implementation. Further details on the League website at that link.

NB I am really not terribly interested in any debate on here as to whether hunting should be banned or not. I believe, very strongly, that it should - if you agree with me, *please* email your MP. Even if you know they're pro-ban, it's still vital that you email them to make sure they attend the debate on Wednesday.

I saw a RSPCA advert the other day which was pretty much "give us £3/month or we kill this cute kitten".

Yeah, you have to be careful not to be fooled by that, or you end up giving them money and they spend it on dogs and horses and such. Much simpler to give money directly to kittens via Cats' Protection.
