I would be happy to take you climbing! They're open afternoons & evenings on weekdays (so post-work is possible), & all day weekends (though it is busier on weekends).
I think it costs £12 to get in (no time-limit on session), & then £2.50 to hire shoes & another £2.50 if you want to hire a harness & do top-roping.[0] You have to be signed in by a member (which I am) if you're a novice.
So, yeah, if you want a go, suggest an evening when you're free!

[0] Basically yr options are: top-roping, where you are attached to a rope & the other person belays you, & you go up fairly high then get lowered back down; or bouldering, where you have no rope & don't go up too high. Top-roping is probably the most fun thing to try out.
