Thank you! I think I was mostly riffing off the grandmother/granddaughter thing in the original (I did write this as a pinch-hit so fairly fast), & would happily envisage Mum having done this in her time as well but not necessarily being directly involved at this point :) If I rewrote it I'd probably think about that a little harder, if only for my own backstory-awareness purposes.
