tired
Thank goodness it's the weekend tomorrow, even if I do seem to have Stuff to do during most of it.
Buffy back last night, hurrah! I would just like to say: Spike, in handcuffs. It is all getting filthier by the episode. Long may this last :-)
Then went to a gig - my friend Arjun's band Kiint. They were headlining, so it would have been good to see the support bands as well, having forked over my £5, but it was *way* too crowded & smoky & unpleasant in the downstairs, so I only ventured down there for Kiint. However, we did catch a little of the first band on, whose name now escapes me, only to realise that it was being fronted by no less than James "the badger" North (nb this will most likely mean very little to most of my readership). He still can't sing, for the record. And I assume he's still a prat.
Kiint were good, especially the instrumental stuff. They have many guitars, & much electronic equipment, and no drummer, which may indicate where they're coming from.
MP3s available from above website, anyway. But sadly I was feeling like crap by the time they came on (headachey, a bit ill, knackered, etc - & my knees had stopped working properly again, which hasn't happened in *ages*), so I hung around for half an hour or so & then had to go home. Bah. Must email Arjun & tell him it was good.
Back at work today, to meet a vast pile of emails and several letters, though thankfully only 3 phone messages, which I must now deal with.
