I think it depends which bits. Northern Territory? Not so much. E Coast Tasmania? Definitely yes. (Although it is, overall, rather warmer than Wales.) It looks all green & damp, and there are lots of mountains. I can def see that if feeling homesick, & at the right time of year, one would see Wales in it. During the rainy patches I was reminded v strongly of riding through the Elan Valley on the BCM. (See userpic.)
