How Railtrack screwed up the west coast main line modernisation - definitely worth a read, if only to gape at how unbelievably badly - and *stupidly* - they screwed up.

Dinner at nou's last night was ace. As were the leftovers that I ate for lunch today :-)

Another apocalyse (religious variety) for marnameow.

Rat genome sequencing. I dispute the 'considered loathsome' tag - see userpic. I defy anyone to find baby Myste & Storm loathsome.

I've been tempted to hunt up those books, but I don't want to encourage the mad christians. And I can't see them popping up in the charity shops of London.

I read the first of the Left Behind books. You may be interested in my opinions (http://dave.org.uk/blog/archives/000057.html). I may read some more of them at some point but I can't imagine ever being bored enough to read twelve of them.
