juliet: White flags against a blue sky, at the Glade Festival (glade flags)

Sunshine! largely content-free post

It is sunny; and the days are getting longer; and it is starting to feel like spring even if it is only February (things are budding, as well). Obviously this is almost certainly a Bad Sign, environmentally speaking, but it is making me cheerful today. Even if a somewhat stiff headwind did nearly blow me to a standstill on Westminster Bridge this morning.

I have been v lazy indeed today; but I think I have just solved one work-related problem, so not a total loss. Sadly not going to be able to make Zen Meditation tonight (because the timing, & my having been in work late this morning, prohibits dinner beforehand, and my stomach will prohibit waiting till after 9pm for dinner), but on the upside this gives me an unexpectedly free evening tonight for general quiet pottering, & I have been rather in need of such of late.

Other cheering thing: my eyebrow has not fallen off as yet, and the general reaction to the piercing seems to be "goodness, that is new, isn't it, I thought you must have had it for ages" which I am taking to imply that it looks like it should be there. (also it is blue! I like blue.)

Is it festival season yet? (ans: possibly not quite but there is a Little Green Planet party on Saturday which I am greatly looking forward to even if it is indoors)

How are all of your Mondays progressing?

It is spring, isn't it? Camden was full of flowers as I went through on the bus earlier, and the morning chorus called time for bed after Popstarz at the weekend. Welcome to the eyebrow piercing club - mine came out ages ago, but I've always had a wistful feeling and a tiny scar to show for it.

My feedback
