Manchester

dogrando, marnameow, uon & I are all off to Manchester tomorrow morning. Tomorrow evening we are seeing Aphex (hurrah!), Saturday we are meeting up with fernasto (also hurrah!), but as yet nothing tomorrow afternoon.

Can anyone recommend exciting/interesting things to do in Manchester city centre?

Go to Urbis and the Manchester Art Gallery, maybe MOSI (Museum of Science and Industry) and take a look at the shops in Affleck's Palace, which are fantastic.
