Things

Porridge in the morning fills you up really quite impressively (& is wheat-free, you see, hence fitting with the whole 'detox' thing). But it is a bugger to wash off the saucepan. This is about the one thing for which I'd like a microwave in the kitchen.

Hummous, lentil sprout, & watercress sandwiches on half-rye bread (shop sold out of 100% rye) are v nice indeed. More lentil sprouts on the way, also alfafa.

Having lunch with [livejournal.com profile] kitty_goth in the George (except I didn't eat anything, due to having had too many chips this week already, really, & also the above-mentioned sandwiches waiting for me) is a very good thing.

Have concluded that I'm not going to [livejournal.com profile] katstevens' gig tonight (sorry Kat!) due to a) being broke (door charge), b) being broke (transport - cannot cycle as it's not my bike to leave around in Brixton), c) being knackered & d) not feeling at my most go-out-y generally. Was hoping to go bother [livejournal.com profile] marnameow, but she is busy, sadly. So, night in on my tod it is (Pete is out at another gig). Anyone at a loose end who wishes to come to Bermondsey &, er, watch me knit (note, I can talk & knit simultaneously)? Also you can play with the rats.

I feel that I should have something to *do* tonight. Like, other than knit. Maybe I should do some coding, but I'm not sure my brain is up to it. Maybe a *little* coding. I feel generally a bit - untethered, maybe.

Work is being busy, & I am being useless. I want to go home now, please.

I have a microwave you're welcome to take off me for £20ish (grr - I should have said something about this to people ages ago, but the end result of my broken microwave saga is that I have two microwaves, and obviously I only need one....so let me know).
