Only a year late: Oyster finally introduce fare-capping from 27 Feb (link downloads PDF of guide to fare capping). Hurrah.

The Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre appear to have mislaid my spare feet; or possibly just the order for the insoles to be made from the spare feet. I am distressed by this, as I was hoping that they'd reach me before going Saas-Fee-ward on Saturday, & this now seems unlikely. The other worrying thing is that their computer had my address as Road rather than Square & had therefore invented an entirely ficticious postcode for it. Perhaps someone else has my insoles, then (although the absence of entry on The System implies that they haven't got as far as the post). I hope not.

This is not the news I wanted on a Monday morning. My motivational reserves are vanishing even as we speak... Also, I left the power cable for the laptop at home & thus have NO MUSIC which is a bit horrifying.

Update: Hurrah, have just had a phone call saying that they've been found (awaiting manufacture), & will go in the post either tomorrow or Wednesday. So they *should* get to me after all, thumbs crossed...

  • SNOW! Though it has gone away again now. Pretty light, though - grey/yellow.
  • Green & Black's mint chocolate is now vegan (previously it contained honey). I bought a celebratory bar.
  • General Khaki gig tonight at the Garage - should be good.
  • I made myself a hat over the weekend (from a black ball of Rowan Calmer I've had sitting around for a while). It's not quite finished yet - I want to add a fuzzy turnup from the leftover Colinette from my jumper. (OK, well, *I* think it's a happy thing, so there).

I need a knitting icon. And a work icon. Possibly I should just use the Herschel icon, mind.
