I was feeling all dopey & so forth earlier, & unproductive. And then I ate 2 squares of 99% cocoa chocolate, & suddenly I feel strangely bouncier... Mmm caffeine.

[livejournal.com profile] dogrando & I visited John Lewis yesterday evening to buy bedside lights (which are v pretty); then went to Chinatown & ate not-very-good food in a place that I think was called Lee Yung Something - don't go there, kids - & then headed to Brewer St where Hexstatic were doing a guerilla gig. So we stood around in the street with about 50-100 other people, watching rather fine videos being projected onto the side of the NCP car park. Which was pretty neat. Had a swift half at the Blue Posts on Rupert St, then home to play with the ratgirls.

I have been knackered all week. I blame the fact that the sun has been HIDING for bloody weeks now. The BBC say it will be sunny in London this weekend; they damn well better be right. I am bored of winter now. It's so very *nearly* spring - all the plants are starting to show green, and the days are getting longer - we just need some sodding sunshine. COME ON.

In other news: who else is BMovieing tonight, then? See you later, those as is...
