Hair, today (& yesterday)

Yesterday I was blonde. (well, sort of)

Today I am green. Hurrah. Not sure if I will stick with it post-Glasto or go back to blue; we'll see how well it lasts (I suspect less well than the blue).

Other weekend activity included: watching the Glastonbury film at the Scoop with dogrando, marnameow, & uon & drinking *way* too much red wine (the film was ace though!); being hungover (whoops); failing to go boshing due to being knackered; lots of allotmenting (weeding & planting things & harvesting more lovely raspberries & the first blackberries); eating pizza; watching DR WHO OMGELEVEN; 2 visits to the greasy spoon; assorted exciting household chores; checking the tent for Glastonbury (it is intact, good).

Hooray! I love that colour. The summer before I went to Sheffield my hair was about that colour & I used to refer to it as tropical fishhead.

That looks lovely! I'm definitely missing having pink in my hair, but not missing the frazzled bits. Dilemma!

How long have I known you? I was positive your eyes were more of a blue colour.

About 4 years? My eyes are definitely in no way blue :-) (I would like them to be green; in fact they're brown-to-hazel. Although looking more green atm !)

I find the solution to frazzledness is:
a) only bleach it about once a year (this is one of the reasons why I tend to stick with dark colours - the roots show less)
b) Lush Retread conditioner
c) cut off the slightly frazzled ends regularly (well: get Marna to do it for me, anyway!)

It is an Exciting Change as I have been blue (or, well, various shades of slightly-faded blue/purple/pink/etc) for a couple of years now.

I think this is the last time I'm going to bother with the whole bleaching/redying thing, though. Mind you, it'll take a good couple of years to grow out so will be a while before I'm entirely back to normal colour!

Hmm. Might try my remaining magenta over the current dark brown and see if I come out a nice purply colour or if it doesn't show at all. By and large most colours are the latter on me.

Yeah, nothing shows on my natural colour, but I don't mind having black/brown roots & darkish dye-over-bleach bit. A year's worth of growth is only 2-3 inches on me, which I'm happy to put up with for the sake of not constantly rebleaching.
