Glastonbury long-range weather forecasts:

Metcheck say 60% prob blue skies, 24degC prediction.

Theweatheroutlook say 50% cloud cover, 19degC, & no rain (for Friday only so far, i.e. 28 days ahead). And little rain in the couple of weeks beforehand, which is also Important.

Bounce!

In other news: knee still hurts, had nice date with [livejournal.com profile] kitty_goth last night, have had several Quiet Nights In lately, which are a good & useful thing (knee pain & painkillers seem to be conspiring to make me *tired*). And we have two more baby rats! Hazel (agouti) & Poppy (black self, very similar to Rowan). Photos hopefully this weekend...

I am STILL wibbling about Hazel going to sleep under my hair! Are she and Poppy a bit more settled in now?

Boo to knee pain :( I have some knee-strengthening exercises which a physio gave me a couple of years ago - should have remembered to mention this last time I was round, but I could show you them next time I see you, if you want?

Good point - my knee exercises are to stop my knee popping out; if you've done something different it might not be such a good idea. Still, some of them take place on a GYM BALL = the most fun you can have with a ball. Or something ;)

Hurrah for new pets. Our cats have entered summer mode: useless, complete lack of activity, stretched out to enable as much surface area as possible to touch the cool tiles downstairs. (As opposed to winter mode: useless, complete lack of activitity, wedged between radiator and wall to absorb as much heat as possible.)

This is actually a bit of a Bad Thing, though, because it means the ground will be very dry and dusty -- so any rain during the festival will turn into an instant sea of mud.

(Not-too-parched ground also makes it much easier to put tents up...)

Yeah. Saturated ground beforehand = quagmire. I'd rather have a little bit of surface mud than stages sinking.

do you realise how inaccurate such long term forecasting is?
