In further weather news: the BBC also say fairly solid prediction of 'sunny' or at least 'dry & generally OK'. (see also Metcheck)

And I found my writeup of last year.

And Pete's & my brand new tent arrived today (it is lighter, & smaller-packed, than the old one, & also has the advantage of not being 10 yrs old & getting a bit worn). Also my decent jacket, & some new hiking socks, & a mallet. And my new vegan hiking boots arrived yesterday.

I wish to pack & go TODAY, curses curses.

I am overexcited, also, and almost bouncing at the computer *for no reason*. I'm off to do camping-shopping-stuff now, though, so that might calm me down some.
