Bad things: discovered at lunchtime that I was 60 quid overdrawn. Given that payday isn't for another 9 days, this was Bad. Now sorted, with various transfers, but I'm going to have to start budgeting properly again & stop assuming that just because I'm being paid ACTUAL MONEY I can buy vast quantities of things. I am, after all, not being paid very much Actual Money. Drat.

Good news: I phoned up Barclays (old student bank; I've moved to Smile now cos of ethicalness & interest-paying nature) to enquire about when my interest-free overdraft was going to run out. It transpires that the TINY FOOLS are prepared to lend me up to a grand for free & gratis not merely for another couple of months as I had anticipated, but for slightly more than another year. Hurrah. This is particularly good as I didn't have, unsurprisingly, the grand to pay 'em off with, & was becoming rather concerned. Whether or not I have it by next year is, of course, anyone's guess, but it seems rather more likely.

In other news, I seem to have inadvertently deleted half of my address book. Whoops. (don't ask. It was fairly daft, though not entirely daft - I have done dafter). I am going to assume that I have enough saved emails to rescue the bits that need rescuing, & treat it as a means of purging addresses that I no longer use. This hurts my squirrelling instinct, but never mind, it is Too Late Now.

And in other other news, I have been remarkably productive today, and with a whole another hour & a half to carry on being productive in, as well. Possibly I am ill, or something. If I'm not now, I damn well will be after a fun evening putting flatpack Argos furniture together & unpacking more boxes onto it.
