I have INTERNET. Thanks to uon for helping me work out why the Virgin Mobile Broadband dongle whatsit wasn't working. (Where by "helping me to work out" I mean "working out for me".) And also for being generally awesome.

I have been up to many many things, & also advancing in years. More details to follow when it's not midnight & I don't have fizz to drink.

I also have a FLAT to live in, in Elizabeth Bay (walking distance from Sydney CBD). It is lovely & all art-deco. Hurrah! Next stop: gainful employment.

Oh, I wondered how things were going for you in Sydney. The Scottish girl whose room I have been renting (and has been staying with us for the past few weeks) went for a few days to Sydney last week with her dad, but then got bored and ended up going back to visit Tasmania (where she has spent the last few months), so I've been hearing much about Sydney and Tasmania recently.

Sydney is great! Have just discovered that flat is about 10 min by bike from the centre of town (though about 15 min back because the lights are all the wrong way, dammit). Also there are 2 big hills so hey, will not stop being bike-fit...

How's Melbourne treating you? (not had time to read elljay of late)
