Photos of Darwin down to Melbourne. Mostly photos of Uluru, unsurprisingly. But also features lizards!

Bloody hell, I am *knackered*. Must go to bed forthwith. Have to get up early tomorrow to pack Cepheus-the-bike up into a box (poor Cepheus!), and then after the boxes are collected, I want to go down the beach, but will have to get a *bus* to do so. Horrors.

So exactly what part about Ibises impressed you?

In certain places around Sydney, e.g. Hyde Park or the Zoo, they have reached plague proportions and have totally acclimatised to living with humans. To the point where they will jump on a picnic table and take food out of your hands!

Yes, they are a lot like pigeons, only a sod of a lot bigger and none of that timid pigeon stuff.

Giant bloody rats with wings (horrible wild rats of course, not cute cuddly domestic ones).
