julietI am struggling with reading Part 1 of the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 (ye gods, the fascination of my life). But I cannot for the life of me work out how it is that it doesn't make gamebird shooting illegal. I mean, much as I would *love* to believe that it *does* make gamebird shooting illegal, and that all those idiots with shotguns have been breaking the law for the last 22 years, I am forced to conclude otherwise. Now on the third re-reading (fourth if you count my colleague reading it and also being unable to find the relevant exemption). Getting a little narked.
