julietthanks to all for nice symapthy/get-well msgs; am not replying individually due to fact that 1-handed typing is achey & feel i should save it for work stuff. see also spelling, abbrevs, lack of caps, etc.
things difficult to do with 1.5 operational hands: tie up dog-poo bags, open jars of honey/Marmite, do up zip on jumper (esp b/c cannot actually put jumper on properly ANYWAY).
thank fvck I have the .5 remaining i.e. LH fingers are operational.
tonight i am getting takeout curry for dinner; feel operating kitchen knife unlikely to pan out well.
