Bad news

Vet says Storm isn't going to get better. She recommended having her put to sleep, but after discussion Pete & I decided against that. Basically, although she's clearly not well, she's still eating & drinking & grooming & pottering about the place, & we both feel that while she's still interested in life, it's not fair to make that decision. So we brought her home yesterday evening, & intend to keep giving her the antibiotics, along with painkillers, to keep her happy as long as possible, & see how things go. But we don't expect her to recover; & we don't expect it to be very long :-(
