food, biros, & work

marnameow, nou, mstevens, sbp & Pete. Which was fun. The food was good but not great; but it was pretty damn exciting just to have a choice of what to eat! They're not licensed, which is a nuisance, though the non-alcoholic wine we had was nice, if quite sweet. Then we went to the pub, & made up quite well for the lack of alcohol consumption during the meal, though sadly nou had to go home early due to having a headache.
Today, I have red pens. This is good, as red is clearly better than blue or black for writing all over things when you're trying to edit them, and we haven't had any in the stationery cupboard for ages. I probably need to get out more if I'm this pleased about a red biro.
Scary deadlines today. Must... not... procrastinate...
