julietNot only did I manage to get shadow's memory fixed & get it booted last night, but I also managed to get cdrecord working on aphex (hey, it's only taken a year & a half to get around to it...), & consequently now have a CD which I am *hoping* to be able to upgrade shadow from. Assuming that all goes well. Ran out of time last night, & thus am deeply irritated that I now have to be at work instead of at home playing with computers. Never mind.
And the rocket seedlings have started coming up! No sign of the chives yet, mind. One of the coriander seedlings I planted out on Tuesday appears to be making the decision to live; the others are as yet unconvinced. And the basil *badly* needs repotting - far too overcrowded in there. Ditto the mint. I should have some pots arriving today or tomorrow - will have to go buy some more compost as well, though.
And it's Friday! That is also good stuff. BMovie tonight.
Had a nice night in with Pete last night - we were going to watch The Big Lebowski, but what with faffing & phone calls, didn't manage it. Good to spend some time together, though, just chatting & stuff.
