shadow_jess's, & we drank wine & inhaled pizza (really, inhaled is definitely the word to use here) & watched silly videos (Dogma, which was cool, & Tombraider, which was very silly but did feature good legs :-) ) & suchlike. Yay.
Tuesday I had an Actual Night In, all by myself (well, after I'd kicked Pete out of the house to go to the cinema). Which is about the first I've managed in a month or two, which is a bit ridiculous. I feel *calmer* now for it, as well. Time alone is useful; although can be a bit hard to arrange what with the Diary From Hell & all. It would appear that it is necessary, though, as I was getting distinctly stressy. I did some washing-up, put some washing on, had a bath, did some mending, did a little hacking, & attempted (unsuccessfully) to reinstall shadow.
Yesterday was the Proms, with Wendy (my sister),kitty_goth, shadow_jess, Pete, dwagon & my friends Cathy & Mike. There was Mozart, which was a bit rubbish, Prokofiev cello concerto, which was lovely (shadow_jess had to be dissuaded from attempting to steal the cello), some modern nonsense which failed to fit together in any way but was only 9min long, & Sibelius 5 which I adore (lovely lovely horn bits!). And then we went to the pub.
Today I am going over tokitty_goth's; tomorrow Pete & I are going to a club but have not yet decided which; Saturday daytime will involve the Doing of Useful Things (hoovering, cleaning rats, buying sticky hooks for hanging dressing gowns on, etc etc); and Saturday evening is Stay Beautiful. Good stuff.
