Baby ratties!

Successfully fetched two baby ratties from Ipswich last night - now named Ash and Rowan. Photos of them behind cut; and more at fotopic. They are SO VERY SMALL & SWEET! Ash is currently in my sleeve.

Yep, Rowan is chocolate - Ash apparently started off chocolate but is rapidly silvering up - I think she doesn't *quite* count as mink yet, but is getting there! We got them from Mel of Darkstar Stud, in Ipswich.

Introductions have been going OK, & they're all now in the big cage together. Ash seems to think that she's big enough to take on Bramble, & Bramble keeps forcibly disabusing her of this notion - & then looking at us in this pained 'what have I done to deserve this?!' way :-) She's already more active, though - after Luthien died she was spending most of her time just sitting in the house, which I really didn't think was good for her.
