Mile 21 (2225): amazing what 3 Hobnobs & half a litre of water can do for you; miles 13-21 or so have zoomed past. Pretty dark now, & my little LED isn't really up to the job, tho I've just changed the batteries & it's a fair bit lighter now. First little candle in a jar (put out to mark the route) sighted. V little traffic. Av 13.4 mph.
