Interesting that only 1 in 28 Americans is vegetarian, compared to the proportions here - I suspect vegetarianism in parts of the US is seen like religion in parts of England...

Yes... I may not be Catholic, but when D posted in his LJ about my baptism last Sunday someone just couldn't resist a dig about how he couldn't understand the numbers of intelligent, thoughtful people getting religion lately. I wonder if he realised just how offensive his were coming across as?
