Luthien is safely back from the vet, & ridiculously perky for a rat who has just had a large hole cut in her stomach. Hopefully we won't have a recurrence - the lump was all one piece so the vet is pretty confident he got it all out. She's still in the hospital-cage for the moment, as she & Bramble have been squabbling lately & I'd rather give her a little while to recover (though in general I'm in favour of putting post-op rats back in the main cage sharpish, otherwise they get lonely & you can start running into re-integration problems).
