So, in the end I got the tube home last night, owing as how I had no remotely waterproof clothing (just a T-shirt & shorts, or jeans that go peculiar around the knees in the rain & then start to hurt) & did not wish to catch pneumonia. Have brought waterproof trousers for this evening...

And then spent terribly lazy evening having a bath, reading lots, knitting a bit, playing on the computer, etc etc. Plus Pete & I ate the first of our courgettes! Hopefully more are on their way....

Happy birthday to my Dad (not that he's reading this...) who is 60 today.
