In other news: had v good evening with the lovely kitty_goth yesterday; had v bad day at work struggling with understanding the thing I'm currently supposed to be working on; have just been paid but immediately have 0 money due to debts etc.

Tonight: meeting up with kitty_goth briefly, then Quiet Night In possibly involving knitting (need to finish beaded bag for sister, & have concluded that I need to rip back lots of hooded top as it's too tight around the armholes/arms :-( ). Tomorrow: date with dogrando, yay.

Man, there's going to be a knitting session at my VERY OWN HOUSE tonight! I don't need to go to a bunch of filthy gayists lurking around a village hall to do my knitting, you know! And neither do you! Yes! Marvellous :) I am going to yet again - do LEGWARMERS tonight. I have got elastic sewing thread. This time, they WILL STAY UP.

She hasn't, no. I've seen the pictures, and they're not that bad by Page 3 standards, but it's not like everyone didn't see everything while she was in the house, anyway.

I must admit I was surprised when I heard she'd done it. I'd have thought the Fat Geordie Slapper would have done it, what with her desire to be the next Jordan and all... but instead, her and Stuart are on the cover of OK and on their TV adverts EVERY SODDING WEEK. "Find out what we've been up to, like, pet, chicken, when the boat comes in".

Very well! It's over halfway now. I wound up doing it on 2mm,which are working fine (although occasionally I have to poke miscreant beads back through to the correct side of a stitch). I will have to construct a lining for it once I'm done, but I guess I'd have had to do that anyway. I'm not sure it'll make the 6th (her actual birthday), but I'm not seeing her till the following week anyway, & it'll certainly be done by then.

I did my sewing at BiCon spot last time. It's a reflexive stitching group. I was meant to be there so I got there really early and sent the needleworky goodness forward in time, so that I can be there in spirit but not in body.

By way of intro, I'm Rebecca and I live in Bermondsey too. I've recently-ish started doing more knitting, and am quite enjoying it - about to embark on making jumpers.

Juliet: we haven't met, but I'm loosely acquainted with Seamus / Lani / Rick / Chris etc. (aka Bots). I think my boyfriend Colin may have attended a party of yours, not sure though. I've been meaning to get in touch for a while now...

Hello! I give you london.crafts, in particular the mailing list bit. We have meetings, usually at people's houses, every couple of months, & occasionally meet in pubs for beer&knitting.

Hmm. Actually, it's probably about time to try to organise another meet-up of some variety... Anyway, join us! Hurrah for knitting :-)
