Existential art angst (with added chicken)

Did not sleep well last night. Took ages getting to sleep, then woke up at 6am with a highly unpleasant nightmare, became convinced that there was a burglar in the house & had to go round checking for said burglar with the Really Big Maglite to use as weapon (it's not the Really Really Big Maglite, which uses 6 batteries, but it's the 4-battery one & could do serious damage if you hit someone in the head with it. Actually, you can do fairly seriously damage if you inadvertently drop it on your toe, as well). Read Chalet School book for 20min to calm myself down, then was entirely unable to sleep again until about 5 min before the alarm went off. Grr. Not, therefore, at my Sunny Best this morning.

kitty_goth met me for breakfast at the cafe, & chips&beans are always a good thing.

But you just know the whole thing's going to turn up on some mouth-frothing Southern Baptist website, with phrases like I don’t know what comes over me at times like this. I only know that I cannot stay silent. and Dancing around the subway poles and doing my best Gwen Verdon kicks, I feel the spirit in me. flagged as irrefutable evidence that the young lady's possessed.
Grr bloody Christians. Some days I can't imagine why I don't give the whole thing up.
