FBI agents seize Indymedia server in London. Yes, that would be London, UK, as in 'not in the US'. What the *fuck*?

I am in ESTEC in the Netherlands today, & have been having many meetings. Off home again in a couple of hours.

Time to add the US to the "Axis of Evil" I think.

ESTEC? I'm in the Netherlands and I've never heared of it...

I did hear about Indymedia though, and still wondering how the FBI can seize disks of English organisations without even having to explain themselves to these organisations.

Do believe that Indymedia NL has live mirror sites (well, one) in case anything happens to the primary hosting facility.

> We are still trying to work with the EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation) to figure out who is charging us and with what crime,

Jeez.

In summary it looks like they published some photos of some Swiss undercover police and the swiss asked them to pull the photos. It is uncertain whether Indymedia complied with the request before the servers were pulled themselves.
