Does anyone want any of the following?

  • Microwave. Can't remember the details - normal sort of microwave, very little used.
  • Separates tuner - about 6 years old, I think, Sony, still working fine (& is good quality) but the front plate is starting to come a little loose (could be glued back on). Pete has bought a digital one instead.
  • Separates minidisc player - we basically never use it, & it won't fit on the new stereo stack whatnot. Also decent quality, probably about 5 yrs old, still working fine.

Available for FREE & no money, but you need to collect. Tuner & minidisc would be easy to take on the tube - bulky but light - but microwave is a bit heavier. Could probably still manage it, though.

If we can't give them away, can anyone suggest anywhere we could donate them to? Seems a shame just to chuck away perfectly functional kit. I'm considering Ebay, but it's a bit of a faff & have v little time atm.

Update: Now all claimed!

in croydon the council will take away white goods and if still functional find a good home. if not functional try and fix them or use them for spare parts.

Oxfam takes some electrical stuff. Local housing project or similar would probably take the microwave (ask the council?).

I'm tempted by the minidisc player, actually, but I'm sort of reluctant to amass any more big & unnecessary STUFF when I am probably going to have to move to a smaller house/flat within the foreseeable future...

I'd like the minidisc player, for my little baby sister. I'll swap it for a crosscut shredder :)
(I haven't forgotten that you want it, I'm just looking for a handy time to get it down to you)
