Efficiency
Mar. 27th, 2003 01:45 pmHad very useful evening last night - did washing-up & two lots of clothes-washing, finished skirt (which has turned out tolerably well, though not quite as well as the last one), wrote expenses claim for last weekend, roasted another lot of seeds for snacking purposes (brought some in today, have already eaten the lot), & spend some time sitting on the sofa with Storm, who seemed reasonably chirpy for a rat with a whacking great hole in her side oozing ick out of it. All most impressive. Clever me.
Reasonably useful morning, as well, continuing with nasty report (& a couple of other research-based sidelines). Plus I just spent half my lunch hour looking at PLANTS that I can plant in pots in my new garden when we move in (plants of a vegetable/herb nature, broadly. I might branch out into some flowers, possibly), which is obviously v exciting. Also our new joint account (for paying of rent) is now set up, which frankly scares the crap out of me. Joint credit card was bad enough, though, hey, can utilise joint credit card to buy PLANTS so that's good.
Off out tonight, initially with my sister (for dinner), then to see Phil Jeays, hurrah.
I could have sworn I had something interesting to say, but evidently not. Oh yes: does anyone happen to know how many acres of gardens there are in the UK, or where I might find such information? Google, currently, is failing to be my friend. Ta.
