Seed Records party last night, at the Coronet (which is a v nice venue, & has friendly door staff & security & so on; although sadly they seemed a bit rubbish at ensuring the presence of loo roll in the loos), was ace. Lots of lovely bleepy music, and strange things being shown in the cinema for when you wanted a bit of a sit-down (including Protect & Survive, so
marnameow was happy). And I was of course there with a bunch of splendid people. Hurrah for ace friends. Rich & Alison (visiting from Manchester) enjoyed themselves as well, which is good as it was my idea to go & I was slightly concerned!
Was greeted this morning by about 9 million beer/wine bottles from the pre-going-out session last night but all is mostly now cleared away. And have done most of the washing up from dinner as well (it is maybe slightly odd of me that it gives me very real pleasure that we can feed 6 people at short notice, seated at an actual table. Although obv Pete did the actual cooking, mmmm curry. I peeled potatoes though!).
So, yes: lovely people + beer, lovely convivial dinner, lovely night out, & then nice chill-out with Ben, Rich & Alison when we got back in, with glasses of wine all round (v civilised), and salty-drink-of-doom[0] & Cassetteboy. And then greasy spoon this morning. And it's sunny! I feel really quite inordinately bouncy.
kitty_goth & I are heading up to Camden shortly (shopping!) & will prob be in the Dev later in the afternoon so drop him or me a text if you fancy a drink. And then Subversion this evening. Although I may need a disco nap at some point...
[0] Bouillon powder & hot water. Excellent for reviving one after a night out on the tiles.

Date: 2006-04-03 02:40 pm (UTC)Your Friday sounded at least as fun as mine, and at least you avoided being hit on at munch! Plus curry. Always a good sign.
