julietHad most enjoyable drink with Wendy last night (even if she did maintain that the Ginger & Lemon beer tasted of soap). Sadly, bike got puncture halfway home, so I had to leave it on Gower St. Left early this morning to collect it & take it to a bike shop to be fixed[0]. But all bike shops in the vicinity, it appears, stay resolutely shut till 10am. Bastards. So after dragging the damn thing round for half an hour or so, I finally had to give up & go to work, & will have to go *back* again this evening. grrRRR.
[0] Yes, I should fix it myself, it's only a puncture. But this would mean sitting in the middle of London with a puncture repair kit, & I'm crap at fixing punctures *anyway*, especially since it's a back wheel & my bike does not have easily-removable wheels. So.
