food

My stomach appears to have shrunk. Yesterday & the day before I couldn't eat all of my dinner (& there wasn't all that much of it to start with). Sunday I only had a single plate of Thai stuff (which when it's a buffet with repeated trips permitted, is practically criminal undereating). Yesterday I didn't get round to my mid-afternoon banana until 4, & had *forgotten about it*, whereas usually by around 2.30 I'm clawing at the desk in hunger, & trying to convince myself not to go out for Hula Hoops instead (not that that's a problem currently, as I have NO MONEY till Saturday so cannot *afford* sodding Hula Hoops anyway. Well, OK, not them *&* drinking at B-Movie, so that's a straightforward choice :-) ).

Most peculiar. Maybe I'm ill. Maybe my stomach is reacting to the drop in activity from 10miles cycle per day to 4miles walk per day. Maybe my erratic eating habits over the weekend (pub food/no food, depending on day) have triggered some bizarre mental switch. Oh well, I shall worry about it properly when I stop eating altogether (like I did when I was tiny. Then I stopped drinking as well & they had to take me into hospital & put me on a drip. Rather not have a repeat of that one, thank you.).

I was expecting to stay till around 5.30. But then I discovered that Becky is leaving at 5.10, & I can't remember how to set the alarm, so we all have to leave along with her. Hurrah.

I have nothing to say, other than the fact that I am writing this whilst lying on the decking in the garden, thanks to the MAGIC of WIRELESS. Hurrah. (though it will be better once we have a new battery for this machine as this one is crap & runs out within minutes. Still, we also have a power outlet on the corner of the outside of the house, so all is well)

It's rather nice out here.

Storm again

Storm super-rat has finally been reintroduced to the main cage (after we cleaned it out this evening), & all seems to have gone well, i.e. Bramble has continued not to beat the crap out of her. Still a couple of healing scabs left, but basically she's all better. For a rat who a couple of months ago was given days to live, if that, she's done pretty damn well :-)

Must ring the vet & let them know.
