I have nothing to say, other than the fact that I am writing this whilst lying on the decking in the garden, thanks to the MAGIC of WIRELESS. Hurrah. (though it will be better once we have a new battery for this machine as this one is crap & runs out within minutes. Still, we also have a power outlet on the corner of the outside of the house, so all is well)

It's rather nice out here.

Welcome to the revolution, comrade!

Only recently got my laptop back (with new batteries too, 7-8 hours freedom) and have been thoroughly enjoying all the Backnet-linked wireless access that's been building up around town while I've been without :-)

I have to avoid wireless, as otherwise getting an excessively shiny laptop will look more sensible.

Mind you, I *say* this, but the laptop that's actually mine (rather than the laptop that's Pete's work's, which is currently in use) is aged & not at all shiny.

*Actually* what we need to do is to talk to the wireless pixies. Because clearly wireless is in fact magic, much like photocopiers.

A random selection of only 8 books currently, I'm afraid (Mum got chased out of the loft by Dad going "WE HAVE TO GO *NOW*". She says she'll have another look before I see them next). Nos 15, 21, 33, 51, 54, 58, 61 & 62, specifically.

Perhaps we should make up a large *daytime* posse & wander round Bermondsey with laptops? Actually, even that sounds a bit dubious...
