Got back this morning just before 8 after an epic return home involving striking
uon's tent in the pouring rain at 2am & then a further 3 hrs standing around in big puddle of muddy field/smaller puddle of muddy field/tarmac before actually getting on lovely warm train.

That was partly constructed with the aid of Twitter (which was great fun!) which might be cheating, so, the things that Right Now I remember:
- Mud. And Rain.
- Trapeze lesson! I flashed my knickers to the entire site as I was wearing a skirt, but v glad that I did not let that put me off as it was *so* much fun.
- Existential crisis on at least 2 occasions :-( (due to mud, rain, etc)
- Refinding the Fun after each crisis (thus Success). The Fun is in all the little interesting bits.
- Billy Bragg continues to make me very happy! Also
carsmilesteve is an excellent person to see him with as he too knows all the words & sings :-)
- Lots of great bosh: Hybrid, Bong-Ra, Scotch Egg, Vitalic.
- Iggy & the Stooges *rocked*. Especially the enormous stage invasion. "You're all - very muddy!"
- Solstice sunrise & sunset at the stone circle.
- Lovely new blue hippy fleece which kept me v warm all through last night's downpour.
- Folding chair continues to rock.
- Knee-length skirt + knee/overknee socks = Best Festival Fashion Choice for avoidance of mud.
- The permaculture garden is lovely.
- Watching the Insect Caberet & then Japanese short films.
- Acoustical beer, as ever.
- People being the ace.
Undoubtedly the most *difficult* Glasto I've been to since 1998. So. Very. Much. Mud. And rain. Zen attitude essential, & mostly maintained through the odd hiccup, & I did still have a fantastic time & I miss it :-(
Also: my friends continue to rock x lots & lots, hurrah!
