Shiny shiny

I have a lovely new MacBook! From which I am typing this! (This due to the fact that the old PowerBook died a death last week. Poor laptop.).

I am taking the opportunity to not just install all the software off the old one (since half of it is PowerPC rather than Intel anyway), & instead to establish what I actually want/need/use/etc. Quicksilver, Firefox, XJournal, & Poisoned already on, which probably says something about my priorities...

As a powerbook user should I google for these or can you tell me what they are?

Quicksilver - http://quicksilver.blacktree.com/ - awesome piece of software, allows you to access everything on the machine from the keyboard (smart-search type thing, so you start typing & it starts working out what you want). Check for tutorials - think there's a couple linked from the website. I hate using other people's machines when they don't have it.

Poisoned - MP3 downloader thingy. (googleable).
