Anyone out there know anything about setting up wireless? This is Not Going Well.

Things I have found & read so far but which have failed to be of use:

The problem shows up when wlanctl-ng runs. But I think that the device may not be set properly (since wlancfg hangs), & I'm damned if I know what I should be prodding at. The module loads successfully, so it ain't that.

This is making me Very Cross. I've had to bring the biscuits upstairs to the computer desk, which is always a bad sign.

Update: After prodding wlancfg some more, it doesn't think there are any devices at all. I am slightly baffled; all the docs appear to imply that loading the driver module will sort things appropriately. (the appropriate alias is set in modules.conf, I just checked).

It's a good job I have so much hair to start off with, you know. Even Great Leap Forwards is failing to cheer me up as much as usual, though I suppose it has stopped me from throwing the keyboard through the window, so...

Um - we got it set up here with no problem. Want to pop over and prod the Purdy-brain?

If you can give me ssh access into the box I can probably get it sorted, if it's still broken?
