Note to self: when chopping vegetables, very sharp kitchen knife goes in vegetables, not in own left thumb. Ow.

I can however heartily recommend Guy's Minor Injuries Unit for all your "I am a muppet who should not be trusted with anything sharper than a beanbag" needs. In, taped up, and out again in something around 15 minutes.

I can also recommend dogrando who dealt admirably with slightly hysterical girlfriend informing him that she had chopped half her finger off and bleeding everywhere. (He went to fetch marnameow who is Trained in these matters & provided interim bandaging.)

Apparently nothing is going to fall off, although the flap that nearly got cut off may wind up dead & I might get a flat bit.
