101 things update

004. Make up a proper pattern from scratch, and make the garment from it - still slowly cutting out fabric, haven't actually done any more on this this month.
014. Eat lunch without "empty" carbs (potato, bread, pasta, rice) every weekday for amonth week. - forgot about this again.
016. Eat salad (i.e. greenery/raw veg type salad) every day for a week - actually I've been doing this a bit the last few days anyway, because there is nice greenery on the balcony!
019. Grow salad leaves on the balcony and keep them going for 3 months (i.e. enough to eat daily for those 3 months) - should be able to do this from now, as well. I need to plant more bronze arrowhead lettuce - it's surprisingly nice. Am also going to count chard in here as I have loads of it & you don't cook it *much*.
020. Set up a proper container garden on the balcony. - two self-watering containers left to make, and a trough hung up but which needs filling and planting. After that I reckon I'll count this as finished. Things are growing v well indeed.
028. Reread the Baroque Cycle. - have borrowed Quicksilver off doop.
029. Read Ulysses - still going, as it has been for months.
030. Get 10 book recommendations from friends, read them, & review them. - 3 read & blogged, 7 not started.
035. Watch the rest of Babylon 5. - waiting for lovefilm to send.
042. Learn enough Mandarin to get by in October. - have not been listening to podcasts lately, must restart.
045. Redo upstairs bathroom - floor now in! We need to sort out the shower curtain & repaint the skirting boards *again*, then we're done.
050. Make a will - still stalled.
055. Go cycling for a weekend at random (i.e. don't plan where I'm going beyond a start point, just take a map with & find somewhere to sleep when I'm tired) 19-20.04.2008 - doop & I did this a couple of weekends ago and it was ace!
061. Do my back exercises daily for a month - yes well.
064. Attend a Pilates class 04.04.2008 - it was OK but a bit too much gym-class-exercise-ish. I'm trying yoga instead next month.
071. Catch up with someone I've not seen in a while for dinner/lunch monthly for 6 mths - scheduled lunch with Ruth, who I haven't seen in well over a decade (we fell out) at the end of this month, and Katherine (friend from school) in June. Also seeing
fernasto tomorrow evening!
074. Learn to beatmatch - stalled.
081. Fill the remaining pages of the poetry-book Marna gave me with poems I like. - am reading poetry again but not found anything good yet.
088. Go to one of the S Ken museums for lunch (to look, not to eat lunch!) once weekly for a month - still FAIL.
093. Visit the bluebell woods by my parents at bluebell-time - going down on Monday!
097. Go to Australia - the Plan continues. It's all a little bit scary, but in a good way. Probably.
