Not-hating-fun

mrs_leroy_brown & I just went to see Mamma Mia (second time in a week for me; I saw it with my parents on Sunday), which is absolutely awesome. I heartily recommend it to any of you who don't hate either a) fun or b) Abba.

Why do I not have any Abba CDs? Hmm?

Although it doesn't matter too much, as someone else in the square is playing (I think) Dire Straits very loudly through their windows. I like Dire Straits, & I like summer when everyone opens their windows & you can hear people's music & talking drifting around. (Not that it's ever *quiet* round here, mind.)

Cheerfulness abounds.

Dire Straits is nice Summer-evening-chilling-out music. A lot of their songs hold very fond memories for me; playing the Brothers In Arms album is like having very dear old friends round for a beer and quiet reminisence together of good times shared.
