juliet: Part of a Pollock artwork in the Tate (art - pollock)

Cyclist goes zoom (Cancellera descending on Stage 7 after he'd had to stop to switch bikes). I want a go! Also features a couple of nice shots of the Astana Machine up front, & pretty mountains.

ION: had busy-but-enjoyable weekend (did lots of work; went to the Tate on Saturday evening where they have a huge table-&-chairs, very Alice, and where I got to go look at the Pollock again, although not the Rothkos as they're off somewhere else; went to the RFH to hear [personal profile] kake's choir sing, also v good). Am desperately trying to catch up with work, which is *happening* but means I am a bit wild-eyed around the edges.

(I'm also sadly behindhand on correspondence of all sorts. My apologies to all who this might affect.)

BTW, does anyone want a bookcase? Argos flatpack (well, was flatpack, has been in assembled state for some years now), but reasonably solid & still in good nick.

Glade tomorrow!

May possibly have a use for the bookcase if we can move it. Do you have dimensions, please?

If we can't use it, I imagine [personal profile] ewt & [personal profile] khalinche might be able to.

Oh, and can it be flatpacked again, or is it now permanently assembled?

Thank you. That's what I suspected. I'll have a word with A when he gets in.

Is it really only 20cm deep?

Sorry about the slowness! Yes, we would like to take the bookcase provided we can get it back from Bermondsey on the bus, which should be OK if we bring the trolley.

Let me know when you're free and I'll try to sort something out.

Thank you! I need to double-check on timings - we're supposed to have an American guest arriving but I'm not quite sure when or for how long yet - I think he'll be here tomorrow. So later in the week, I guess (I'd have come over tonight only I had my laptop with me. Also, A. is STILL at work and I think this will be a two-person job). Hope it doesn't put you out to hang onto it for a few days until we're a bit clearer about what we're doing.

Thank you :-)

If we fail to make a weekday evening, will def try to take it off your hands at the weekend, so you can get on with your sorting.

I'm glad you responded to this! I came on the computer specifically to comeent at you.

Weekend was a bit annoying in 2 regards:

1) Total Jubilee line fail as always

2) The rather weird discovery that your phone number is no longer in my contacts (which makes me wonder if my phone *has* lost some data)

so I was sadly hampered in getting over. Many apologies for being slow & crap.

however, if you're around after work tomorrow, A & I think we should be fine to make it out after work then. If you could PM your number to me or him (again), I'll let you know when we're leaving work - will pack up the small metal trolley into a backpack, I've had a lot of success with that.

Thanks! We may both need to work late anyway, so might not be leaving much before 7-7:30. Will let you know - if it's impractical, we can do Thurs instead.

Wouldn't look a gift bookcase in the mouth. But I suspect it is London based and would be more effort to get to Oxford than it really warrants?

I particularly like his duck under the cliff wall at 3:14 when he cut just a tiny bit too close.

Was sorry to miss your Return To Blighty pubbage. Welcome back.

How big is bookcase? I possibly could depending on finding anywhere to put the thing.
