Glastonbury train tickets

The available direct trains appear to be 0933 from Paddington on Thursday (arr Castle Cary 1113), and 0928 from Castle Cary on Monday (arr Paddington 1121). Cost £36, or £23.75 for YP card holders.

However, you can't book 'em online (I ran into this problem last year), so I shall stop off at London Bridge on the way home to get them there.

SO: are these times OK? The next direct train won't get us there till after 2, which is getting quite late by the time we've got onsite etc etc. I'd really rather be there early, especially as there's quite a few of us to find space for. Getting back, again the next train is a good couple of hours later, & I've always found it better to get out early & avoid the rush (& get home to a SHOWER!).

People I currently expect to buy tickets for: me, Pete, daneel_olivaw, marnameow, sbp, wintrmute. If any of you *don't* want tickets, let me know; if anyone else does, let me know (before about 5). Also - anyone apart from me have a YP card? (I think Toby's the only other eligible person, in fact)

Those times look fine, and I don't qualify for a YP card.

Fine by me. Are you going to reserve seats? I imagine quite a few people might be on that train....

If possible, yes. Last time I think they weren't doing reservations (actually, no, it was OK on the way up but not on the way back).

Anyway: yup, will try! I cannot stand all the way to Glasto, it will screw my knees before I even start.

Yesyesyes. It's a tad early but I'm *sure* I'll survive. And that gets up the whole of Thursday for *stuff*!
