The Book (Linux System Administration Recipes) is out! I have also received my author copies, which I am not entirely sure what to do with. But they are shiny, and one of them now lives on the shelf.

(Apparently it is not quite out yet in the UK.)

Heh... pretty incredible... I know also that suddenly seeing a publishers proof looking all posh and well typeset can be quite a moment -- plus your name in lights (well type) on the cover. Very impressive.

[Still, on the other hand, perl? Ugh! sed and awk for me and python if it is more complex than that.]

In this case, the not-having-to-use-MS-Write or whatever it's called these days, and being able to parse and add to the annotation that the MS stuff put in.
