request for mint!
Oct. 24th, 2009 07:24 pmHas anyone got a mint plant that they'd be prepared to dig a bit of root up from to stick in the post to me? (Well: root & some leaf, ideally. Since mint grows like a sodding weed this shouldn't be a great loss to you :) ). In a bubble-wrap envelope with some card around it & damp kitchenroll in clingfilm over the root bit it ought to survive the post.
While I'm at it: similar donations of pennyroyal, sage, tansy, or tarragon would also be appreciated.
Happy to offer cuttings or seeds in exchange: rosemary, lavender, oregano, and thyme are all going well on the balcony; I have lots of rocket seeds & some garlic chive seeds; and a couple of aloe vera offshoots could do with a home. (NB exchange not required! Let me know if you'd like cuttings/seeds anyway :) )
And a free link for you! a herbalism zine from the London Anarchafeminism Kolektiv.
