julietI am in a chemistry lab in the University of Pennsylvania. This is because it is our friend Silk's chemistry lab, & he is about to go to Ohio & is kindly letting us sit around here & borrow their net connection until it becomes time to catch the train. Nice Silk. Train is going to cost horrendous sum of money, it serves us right for being shite & forgetting to book tickets in advance. Whoops. Oh well, entire holiday has cost horrendous sum of money & I am entirely broke, so there we go. Much fun, though.
Spent yesterday wandering round Philadelphia with Silk & his friend Jocelyn, which was nice. Bloody hot, though. Failed entirely to find a suitable pair of summer sandals, though, bah. I found a tolerable pair, but then discovered they were leather. It looks like I'll be buying some elastic & attempting to fix the old ones, then.
Drank too many margeritas last night. Margeritas are a Good Thing. I may have to invest in tequila, triple sec, & lime juice for the PARTY next weekend.
Getting back home tomorrow - we're supposed to arrive at Heathrow at 1945 BST. I shall be catching up with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kitty_goth briefly before he buggers off to Forn Parts. marnameow, will you be around tomorrow evening for Pete to collect our keys? I anticipate arrival back at Bermondsey somewhere around 2200 (variable depending on baggage claim, customs, tube behaviour, lateness or otherwise of flight, etcetc). We can give you a ring once we're on the tube (is overland at Heathrow) to give you a better idea of timing.
I finally have the questions (for the 5-question thingy) that I promisedj4, ewx, & karen2205, but LJ is being awkward & doesn't want me to post comments. Maybe it'll be unbroken by now
