Unpleasantness

I have a slightly damp jumper. This is because it went in the wash last night, didn't *quite* dry in the airing cupboard overnight, & I figured it could finish off on the office radiator during the hour or so it takes me to get chilly enough to need a jumper. Unfortunately the office radiators have been switched off. Bother. Am now trying to work out whether it is colder with or without the jumper. Maybe I should try to fix up some form of drying arrangement with the fan heater.

But the arms are wet as well, & wouldn't dry because of the tying. And my colleagues might think me peculiar (more peculiar).

Someone has switched the radiators back on, anyway, so all is well. Also I just spent half an hour moving large numbers of books around, so have warmed up a bit. At least this time I've been paid for moving the books around, rather than doing it for free in my house.
